A Visit From Texas

For 5 days at the beginning of this month I got to enjoy a great visit from my good friend Jessica Brough from Texas & her little boy Ezra (16 mo.) where we enjoyed having our boys meet for the 1st time & play, wrestle, scream, cry, bathe, & eat together. Jessica & I worked our rears off late into the most of the nights painting the inside of my house & even had a "girls night" of painting with our friend Sharon Gosney where we jammed out to fun, fast movin' songs.
Jessica & I also talked w/ ea. other like crazy, laughed alot, cried a little, cooked together, & shared tips on life, food, being a mom & a wife.

Jessica & mines friendship is one of a rariety I would say. I concider her to be one of my very best friends, yet we've never lived even in the same state as ea.other & only seen ea.other a grand total of 9 times over the past 5 years. Some visits very short & others extended. We know ea.other through our husbands who have been friends since college. We got married with in 4 mo. of ea.other & have boys 5 mo. apart.
So to Jessica, I say thank you!~ For all of your time, effort, & hard work in coming out to visit/work with me.
She was so sweet to offer to come out here to Arkansas & help with anything I needed in settling in.
So before I keep rattling on, here are a some pics of our week together. Most all of the boys & unfortunately forgot to take pics of us actually painting! But when your in the middle of working with paint or working at all, you dont often think to pull out the camera.

How Cole Told Daddy . . .

Ta Da! Yep! Numero Dos is on the way! And we are sooo excited!
We are due at the very end of September & are 6 weeks along or 8
if you go by the 40 week pregnancy rule.
We will be happy with either or just as long as the baby
is healthy & strong.
Just for the record, for some reason I keep thinking & feeling like
it might be a girl, but we shall see! Any bets?
I had so much fun surprising Jace with the news. He had
actually come home early from work to beat the ice storm
headed in a few weeks ago so I was rushing to get it finished for
him so I could say, " You've got to come see what Cole did
to our bathroom earlier today!". And it worked!
Jace was def. surprised & elated! He later said he had to
read it a couple times before he got it bcuz he was
confused at first as to why there where pics of him &
his younger brothers all over the mirror. We enjoyed
looking at it for a week, I think to help make it more real.
So far, I've only experienced slight nausea, very frequented
trips to the restroom, & trouble feeling like I could never
get enough air in (which I'm told from the Dr.s is common).
Which lasted for about 2 weeks til I couldn't take it anymore
because it was draining me constantly trying to stay calm
from not feeling like I was suffocating, that I asked Jace for a
priesthood blessing the other day & the next morning I could
breath completely normal. I am so grateful for the priesthood
in my home! Thank you again honey!
Cooool Dude . . . .

Lately Cole has loved running around the house with
his very own sunglasses on & hat, so I showed him in the mirror
how "cool" he looked, he thought it was the best & had
fun making faces at himself too.
