Maybe you could translate for us . . .

Cole talks ALOT . . . we just can't understand his language. Does anyone have a baby language translator handy? Thank goodness at least he understands us so well!

Its Official !

For those of you who haven't heard yet,
yes, the rumor is true!

We are Moving to N.W. Arkansas

Jace has taken a job offer with Wal-Mart Cooperate head quarter in Bentonville, AR.
Working on the Leadership Training and Development Team.
Some dear friends of ours had been hinting at Jace for about 2 yrs that he's got a great job waiting for him out there in Arkansas and with us needing to find stable income, Jace relented, applied, and here we are today!

This has all been very fast for us, but know this is exactly want the Lord wants us to do.
It was official about 2 & 1/2 wks ago.
We are leaving the Sunshine state on January 2nd.
We have already been to AR. and back to find our house. And we were able to
in 2 days from a 5 day trip.

I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it is there! I love that it has lots of wide open spaces 7 very green with still yet all the needed amenities pretty close by! They've got pretty much everything we have here in AZ. as far as restaurants, fast food, and shopping goes.
And we were glad to find out the the church is a good size and strong there. We will have a brand new church building done in prob. April only 3 minutes away from us - yeah!

So here are some pics of our new house in Centerton, Arkansas! We are really excited! A little bit bigger house with more land for less mula!
It's a new build so we get to pick out all the paints, window coverings, ect. and no HOA - whoa-hoo!
So everything is very "white" now, but enjoy! We will def. be posting pics when we get going on projects with the house!

What a Sunday!

Last Sunday(the 9th) after church, we decided to do a fun little picnic at the Temple grounds since the weather was so beautiful!

Cole's soo excited to be out and runnen around! What cute pinchable cheeks!
We're enjoying the the whole thing too, the weather, beautiful scenery, simple food, and watching Cole run around.

Muscle Man! He thinks he's big stuff pushing it all by himself (Jace says he looked like Big Foot in that pose, cuz that's what you always see in those fuzzy photos of B.F.).

Going over to see and smell the flowers.

They brought me back 3 lil "bouquets". How sweet! Thank you boys! (but, shhh! don't tell, I don't think you're suppose to pick 'em. But it was for a good cause).

Giggles, giggles, n more giggles! Again! Again!

And then later that evening, on to homemade Barbecued chicken and pineapple, with warm crescent rolls and corn. Soo yumm! Sunday dinners are the best!

And lastly, family play time in the play room. Jace had fun trying to build a semi-indestructible tower of mega blocks before Cole would tare through it like Godzilla!

The after math.
He's so proud of himself. It's so funny to watch him run and knock it over, and then the ones that didn't fall apart, he'll rip apart by hand as he's squealing. Oh, boys! Gotta love 'em!!

1st Hair Cut

Sadly, it was time to be done! Those beautiful baby curls were just getting a little too wild!
We took Cole over to Great Clips right by our house last Thursday evening and handed him a succor to keep him content. And it worked! Except, I shouldn't have given him a blue succor! oh well, he was happy and so were we.

He did pretty darn good the whole time, until the end he was getting squeamish. But before she started, she clipped off a couple of curls of his hair for us to keep. The lady was going to do the buzzer for the back of his hair but every time she touched his head he would lean forward with his shoulders up and giggle like crazy, it was the funniest thing! So, scissors it was!
Daddy making him laugh towards the end. But he was def. done by the end, he was soo tired a whiny that I couldn't get a good shot of him right after the cut was totally done. At the very end they also gave us a free "1st hair cut certificate" to fill out and put Coles curls in it.

So I tried to capture a few right before bed time.

Now we're just chillaxin together watching Baby Einstein while he finishes up his milk.

So here's the morning after in the day light. It's true what I've heard parents say, that once you cut it, they look so much older. He def. looks more like a little boy now. But we love it! We keep commenting how we like his new "Do". I had fun "styling" it for the first time on Sunday for church with some gel to get the spikes goen.

A shot from the back, and of his 'lil plumbers crack he's got going on. If I let him run around in his diaper for a bit, he always tends to yank his diaper down, even though he's still clean. Thank goodness for clothes! He hasn't discovered how to strip himself down yet.

We love our handsome little dude that's growing up just too quick!

Thank You, Honey!

This morning I came down the hall and found this beautiful single red rose that Jace had picked for me from our rose bush in our backyard.
I loved it! I enjoyed walking past it many times today and stopping to smell it.
It was a fun surprise. Thank you again hon, and I love you too!

For Cole . . .

On Wednesday, I pulled out the bubbles to play with you. And I want to remember that moment with you. Your smiles, your giggles, your wonderment. You couldn't get enough of 'em! At first you just watched them, then you tried to follow them in the air, and then when they went under the coffee table, you bent down to see where they went. And then you would put your hands out in the "where did they go?" gesture and I'd blow some more bubbles. You started to catch them in your hands to pop them and then started to run through the middle of them and giggle as you went back and forth. Some would pop on the hallway runner rug, so you'd lift the side of the rug up to find where they went and you were adorable doing so!
You would do your sign language to ask for "more" bubbles. You'd also say, "buboo" in your cute little voice.
And then when you saw me getting ready to blow more bubbles, you would stand in front of me, pull your shoulders up, and breath in and out real fast with your mouth wide open, "helping" me to blow bubbles. So I had you stand next to me to help blow them and you'd hold your breath in with big eyes until I blew the bubbles, then you'd smile and laugh some more as you went to pop them.
You were sooo upset when I put the bubbles away for nap time. We probably played bubbles three times that day and three more times the next day! And every time your sad when I put them away.
I just had to write this moment down, so I don't forget the small and simple things in life and enjoying my baby boy while your still mine. And for you, even though you won't remember this first time, you can read this and remember that I love you with all my heart!

First Scrapped Knee

Last week Cole took a tumble on the stepping stones on the side of our house and was pretty tough about it.
I had to put pants on him so he wouldn't pull the band-aid off. I've had to put a couple on his toes before and he'd have 'em peeled off in seconds and then tries to put it back on his toe. So I was actually glad it was in a spot that could be covered up.

A couple days before that I picked up some Neo to Go for the diaper bag along with his very own Sponge Bob band-aids since we're going to the park more and he's runnen a lot more. The spray Neo is pretty cool.
